  • Cut onboarding friction for financial advisors by making the path to first value obvious instead of a maze of steps.
  • Built the analytics Product and Engineering actually needed to measure activation and adoption, not vanity events nobody reads.
  • Built reusable design patterns that sped up delivery and stopped every team from reinventing the same screen.
  • Killed the “I just don’t like it” design review. Replaced it with arguments backed by a business outcome.

Senior Product DesignerNotch Financial, Toronto ON (Remote) | Mar 2024 – Oct 2024

  • Designed and launched a payment portal that required a payment method before invoice access. On-time payments went up 30%.
  • Replaced a manual, supplier-driven billing process with self-serve. Collections overhead dropped.
  • Helped migrate Stripe to Adyen without a single day of broken payments, designing the error-handling and business logic that made it possible.

Founding Product DesignerGlobalVision, Montreal QC | May 2020 – Mar 2024

Built Verify, GlobalVision’s automated proofreading product for pharma, medical, CPG, and ad agencies, from zero. Hit $1 million ARR in year one.

  • Built the design system and the workflow that kept design and engineering from fighting over it
  • Created user flows, journey mapping, and prototyping (Figma)
  • Took the product from beta to launch. No handoff, no disappearing act
  • Ran the research program myself: ongoing usability sessions with actual clients, not a panel of strangers

    Director of Product DesignStradigi AI Inc., Montreal QC | February 2018 – May 2020

     

    • Owned UX for Kepler, an AI product that automated the parts of a data scientist’s job nobody wanted to do by hand.
    • Raised $53 million CAD in Series A funding to expand into the North American market.
      Led a small team building design systems, running user research, usability testing, wireframing, and prototyping. All of it, not just the pretty parts.
    • Set design strategy for every AI project in the building. User-centered wasn’t a buzzword, it was the actual bar.
    • Owned art direction across the platform and every digital product it shipped. Got design, marketing, and engineering talking to each other instead of past each other.

    • Designed mobile, web, and internal products during the agency-to-SaaS pivot. Built the reusable patterns that became the design system.

    • Led design on the e-commerce product, shoulder to shoulder with development, not a handoff-and-disappear job.
    • Wrote the HTML/CSS myself. Shipped on time, every time.
    • Increased user base from 1.5 million to 3 million users.
    • Built the strategy that pushed conversion rates up and made the pages that actually made money easier to use.
    • Redesigned the company website and grew brand presence through social and email, because design doesn’t stop at the mockup.
